Tournament weekends often produce defining moments and KKASC Thistles produced one here. From the opening sprint, the side played with confidence and freedom, moving the ball at speed and creating opportunities from across the pool. Manchester Bees struggled to contain the attacking variety on display as KKASC steadily increased their lead. Just as impressive was the defensive commitment, with players tracking back quickly and limiting opportunities at the opposite end. By full time, the performance had become a statement of intent as well as a convincing victory.
