The trip concluded with an entertaining encounter against Liverpool Lizards. Both teams showed attacking intent and the match developed into an open contest with opportunities at both ends. KKASC created chances and remained in touch for long periods, refusing to allow the game to drift away. Liverpool eventually edged clear during the latter stages, but the visitors continued to compete positively until the end. The performance provided another useful benchmark and plenty of encouragement for the fixtures ahead.

KKASC travelled to Manchester knowing they faced one of the stronger teams in the division. The hosts began brightly and created pressure through sustained possession, but KKASC remained competitive and produced several impressive attacking passages. Whenever Manchester threatened to pull away, the visitors responded with determination and character. Although the home side eventually secured victory, KKASC demonstrated plenty of qualities that suggested they could compete successfully against high level opposition.
