For three periods this was an absorbing contest between two ambitious U19 sides. Portobello asked difficult questions and stayed within reach for much of the afternoon. KKASC, however, found an extra gear when the match entered its decisive phase. Faster transitions, sharper finishing and relentless energy gradually stretched the visitors beyond recovery. What had been a close battle evolved into a convincing home victory, with the final score reflecting KKASCs strong finish more than the balance of the earlier exchanges. It was an entertaining match and one that highlighted the attacking talent available throughout the squad.

KKASC U17 22-11 Warrender U17
There was an air of confidence about KKASC U17 from the outset and it translated into a strong performance against Warrender. Rather than relying on individual moments, the home side built their success through teamwork and sustained pressure. Every defensive recovery seemed to launch another attack, while movement away from the ball continually created opportunities. Warrender remained competitive and found moments of success, but KKASC steadily increased the gap through disciplined execution. The result was another sign of the development taking place within the squad and rewarded hard work on the training ground.
Warrender 16-15 KKASC
Some defeats linger longer than others. This was one of them. KKASC and Warrender produced a fiercely contested encounter in which neither side managed to pull clear. Every score appeared to be answered immediately and momentum changed repeatedly throughout the evening. As the game entered the closing stages, the outcome remained impossible to predict. A single key moment eventually tipped the balance in Warrenders favour. KKASC pushed hard in search of an equaliser and created opportunities right to the end, but the hosts held on. The narrow margin made the result frustrating, yet the quality and commitment shown by both teams created a contest worthy of the occasion.
