KKASC travelled to Manchester knowing they faced one of the stronger teams in the division. The hosts began brightly and created pressure through sustained possession, but KKASC remained competitive and produced several impressive attacking passages. Whenever Manchester threatened to pull away, the visitors responded with determination and character. Although the home side eventually secured victory, KKASC demonstrated plenty of qualities that suggested they could compete successfully against high level opposition.
