While the scoreline highlighted KKASC U18s attacking quality, the story of this match was the defensive organisation shown throughout. Tyldesley were repeatedly denied clear opportunities as KKASC worked tirelessly to protect possession and close down space. That defensive platform allowed the team to play with increasing freedom in attack. As the contest developed, confidence spread through the squad and opportunities were taken with composure. By the closing stages, the visitors were firmly in command and able to secure another important victory.
