The scoreboard may not have favoured KKASC U13, but the final festival fixture contained plenty of encouraging signs. Against Northampton B, the team attacked with greater confidence and created more opportunities than in earlier matches. Several well worked moves resulted in goals and demonstrated the progress being made throughout the group. Northampton ultimately proved stronger across the full contest, but KKASC finished the weekend showing energy, effort and a willingness to play positively. The experience gained across the tournament should serve the squad well moving forward.
