KKASC travelled to Tyldesley and quickly established the foundations for an important victory. An energetic opening spell put the visitors on the front foot and forced the home side onto the back foot. Rather than sitting back after building an advantage, KKASC continued to attack with confidence and intelligence. Tyldesley stayed competitive and produced several strong periods of play, but each challenge was answered by composed possession and disciplined defending. The result rewarded a balanced display that combined aggression in attack with organisation at the opposite end of the pool.
